And so it begins...
it's night time, and my demons are out
they escaped through the cracks of light
wisps of smoke dancing in between the shadows.
Whispers turn to loud conversations
which then turn to screams
tired of collecting hushed secrets
now the cat's bag is bursting at it's seams.
And so it begins...
i'm running from the bushes
leaving behind these metal chains
turning back with a fleeting look
and then am running..and running.. running again
i refuse to be tempted to implode
flashing colours blind me as i speed across
i run to the set pace of my throbbing temples
hoping to find somewhere where nowhere matters..
And so it begins...
