The Shadow

He who knows no sleep;
travels the world in his dreams.

He who knows not to eat;
tastes feasts in his tongue.
He who knows no love;
feels the burn in his heart.
He who knows no fear;
shivers in his own mind.
He who knows no one;
talks to every stranger.

He who knows no pain;
bites his lips every now and again.
He who knows no greed;
gives an excuse that he needs to feed.
He who knows no chance;
sometimes looses his own stance.
He who knows no tears;
cries silently away from his peers.
He who knows no goodbyes;
also eventually dies.
